Jay Chou appreciation thread

What got me into Jay Chou and slowly into CPOP(chinese pop)was Initial D The Movie."I thought Initial D was Japanese manga?" Yeah that what I thought! But the real life adaption of the original manga and anime series was acted by a bunch of Chinese people....? No disrespect at all...! It was just weird seeing Chinese actors play the movie adaption of the Japanese anime...

you see, Taiseng...

Jay Chou(far right) Edison Chen(middle) and idk the other guy...

Anyways off topic a little bit, but yeah i do find Chinese pop very satisfying. Although i dont know what their saying most of the time, i still find it enjoyable to listen to.

One of the main reason i admire this guy is because he not only writes his own lyrics but he produced and "compose" his own songs. He is multi-talented in the fields of singing, composing, producing and recently a successful actor. Now a huge CPOP icon not only in his own country Taipei, Taiwan(He's Taiwanese) but also all over Asia, and even many here in America.

His movie career was looking very bright after the huge hit of Initial D.
Later he started featuring in more main role movies and also cameos in many as well.
